Sonia Kroth

Sonia is the Community Relations Manager with the County of Ventura Human Services Agency and serves on the boards of the Partnership for Safe Families and Communities of Ventura County. A Thomas J. Watson Fellow, she has been recognized for her studies of cultural and biological diversity.

Sonia brings extensive expertise working for low-income and marginalized communities through her dedication to numerous community outreach programs including the Mixteco Indigena Community Organizing Project, the Westside Community Council, and the Santa Barbara County Commission for Women. She also supports the Women’s Economic Justice Project, the Ventura Safe Housing Collaborative, the Kellogg Park Working Group, and volunteers for the Farmworker Appreciation Support Caravans.
