New Guadalupe Makers Market Showcases Local Entrepreneurs and Artisans October 20

Free one-day event, presented by Peoples’ Self-Help Housing, offers unique, handcrafted finds made in Guadalupe.

Guadalupe, Calif., October 16, 2018 – Central Coast shoppers are invited to support the entrepreneurial spirit at the first-ever Guadalupe Makers Market presented by Peoples’ Self-Help Housing (PSHH) on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Flappers Flip on Historic Highway One.

This new event offers local entrepreneurs a nurturing and encouraging environment to showcase and sell their unique, handcrafted items. Shoppers will find clothing and fabric art, jewelry, home decor, fine art, pottery, crafts and specialty food.

Thanks in part to a Collaborative Action Grant provided by Enterprise Community Partners, PSHH and Flappers Flip have lent assistance throughout the vendor process to budding entrepreneurs with little or no experience selling at live events including permitting, licensing, merchandise displays, marketing and pricing.

The Guadalupe Makers Market is Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Flappers Flip located at 945 Guadalupe Street (CA Highway 1) in Guadalupe, CA. Admission is free. For more details, visit www.pshhc.org/makersmarket.
