Director of Resource Development Recertifies as Fund Raising Executive

San Luis Obispo, CA, October 8, 2018 – Gillian Cole-Andrews, Director of Communications & Resource Development at Peoples’ Self-Help Housing, recently recertified as a Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Based on continuing education in the field of philanthropy, annual performance in funds raised and length of time served as a fund raising professional, the CFRE certification is an endorsement of knowledge and experience against international standards in philanthropy.

Ms. Cole-Andrews has served with Peoples’ Self-Help Housing since 2016, and previously with PCPA Foundation and the Dunes Center. With a mission of building affordable homes with site-based services that offer opportunities to change lives and strengthen communities on California’s Central Coast, her current role with Peoples’ Self-Help Housing sees her promoting and fund raising for the organization which houses over 5,000 residents at its 52 properties throughout San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

John Fowler, President & CEO of Peoples’ Self-Help Housing, said “We are really fortunate to have Gillian on our staff. She is devoted to our supporters and to the careful stewardship of the funds they entrust to us.”

All holders of the CFRE credential pledge to abide by CFRE Accountability Standards, the International Statement of Ethical Principles in Fundraising and to adhere to the Donor Bill of Rights.
