LOCAL COMMUNITY PARTNERS "STUFF THE BUS"
TO HELP NEEDY KIDS
Peoples' Self-Help Housing partners with Community West Bank, MTD, Payless ShoeSource, Starbucks Coffee Company, & the SB Police Department to Collect Holiday Gifts for Kids
Santa Barbara, CA, December 3, 2007—Peoples’ Self-Help Housing asks that while you rush out to look for the perfect gift for your loved ones and friends, consider also giving to those less fortunate as well. There are many people – especially children – right here in Santa Barbara and Goleta who would benefit from your holiday generosity.
This year, Peoples’ Self-Help Housing (PSHH) has made it easy for you to give to those less fortunate with the 2007 “Stuff the Bus Campaign for Peoples’ Kids.” From now through December 19, individuals, organizations, and corporations are invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys at our partner locations, purchase gift cards for shoes at Payless ShoeSource, or make financial donations that will be turned into gift cards for children residing at Peoples’ Self-Help Housing affordable rental apartments in Santa Barbara and Goleta .
On Wednesday, December 19, MTD buses will stop at each of the locations below to “Stuff the Bus” with all of the donated items and deliver them to PSHH children in need.
