Home Ownership Pipeline

Under Construction:

Summer Holly Homes – Completion Anticipated Summer 2024

North Thompson and Branch Street, Nipomo

Located in San Luis Obispo County, this new construction sees a group of owner-builders constructing a neighborhood of 10 two-story homes located at the intersection of West Branch and North Thompson. Each home has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and two-car garages. They will also come equipped with energy-efficient features and PV solar.

The owner-builders continue framing, setting trusses, and installing windows. Further along in construction, others are installing roofing and completing plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

In Pre-Development:

Breaking ground on a new home ownership project generally takes 3-4 years as we work with local jurisdictions, community stakeholders, federal programs, and state agencies. This includes obtaining design approval, performing environmental review, securing grants and mortgages, and installing public improvements. This highly collaborative process is currently working to bring 170+ new homes to the Central Coast. These include:

  • Mission Gardens II, San Miguel – 14 homes
  • Apple Avenue, Greenfield – 34 homes
  • Skylight Homes, Santa Maria – 49 homes
  • Hillcrest Homes, Thousand Oaks – 78 homes

Applications for these sites are not yet available, but we encourge you to sign up on our Home Ownership Interest List to receive updates on their progress.
